Fast, efficient service: the water and the menu were at my table a second after I sat. The waitress brought the tea and the soup quickly. The chow fun was tasty and filling with a good ratio of noodles, vegetables, and chicken. The waitress checked in with the customers a few times during my meal, and handled the check and payment with the same professional efficiency
We ordered delivery so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere. The food was impressively bland. The general tso's breading was mushy, and the sauce tasted like soy and salt, without a hint of spice. The spring rolls were crispy-ish on the outside, and bland and mushy inside. The beef lo mein didn't taste like much, but it was good enough with some soy sauce. The sesame noodles just tasted like peanut butter, but the noodles were nice and chewy, and it wasn't too bad with some ponzu and hot sauce.
We threw away most of the food, which we never do. We eat leftover McDonald's. I definitely wouldn't order again.
CHEAP CHINESE CONSISTENTLY DECENT
This place is so seedy and kinda gross. If you’re down for dirty dining and like a place with a parking lot, then this is your spot. Food is cooked fresh and some it is homemade. Their potstickers are my favorite item on the menu.
FYI- They do not have birdsnests as listed on the menu.
I am on a mission to find the best sweet and sour pork in Portland. This place isn't even close. Man are they stingy, the portion size is insulting. I want to leave full! The pork was chewy and flavorless. The sauce.. meh.
Not impressed.
Weve gone here religiously well over 15 years.
Recently their prices went WAY up for quite simply average run of the mill chinese food. The flavor is bland and portions very small compared to 6 or 7 months ago a swell.
Plain kung pao now costs same as high end thai dishes at very nice restaurants? From 12.95 to 16 dollars?
Charge more, get and taste less??
Corn starch thickened bland hot and sour soup is as much as made on the spot Tom Kha at a nice thai place?
You have priced yourself out of any reasonable consumer's budget.
2 plain entrees and 2 soups should not cost almost 60 dollars
Ridiculous.
It's been fun but we will have fresh made high end thai food from now on for your prices of chinese food indistinguishable from any other cheap chinese restaurant.
Maybe once a year on Xmas. We were weekly diners there.
Oh well
I had the kung pao chicken. Though it definitely could be a little more spicy hotness…it was quite tasty…chicken and veggies were fresh…and the waitress was very friendly as well
Ordered the salted pepper prawns, dynasty chow fun, and egg rolls. Egg rolls drenched and dripping with oils, inedible. Salted pepper prawns were very greasy and devoid of any flavors of salt or pepper. Chow fun noodles were mushy and had no flavor. Would not recommend.
Even though it was busy, they sat us down promptly. The servers were on point with our order, even with it being large and complicated. The food was fresh and the textures were consistent with what they should have been. Price was …
The staff are super friendly and cater to you immediately the food is pretty good and you get a lot of bang for your buck and I like all the paintings on the wall
This place has real food and a chill atmosphere. I wanted to eat at a place that was not a chain, and this provided the home-cooked service I desired. The moo-goo gai pan had all the correct flavors (carrots tasted fresh, mushrooms were …
